Southwest Florida's top up and coming comics have found a new home at Kapua Kava Bar in Fort Myers, Florida.
Host Sean Skove has a relentless passion for all things comedy, and it is on full display at our twice monthly open mic showcase. Kapua Kava Bar's comedy open mic is scheduled every other Wednesday night and draws an eclectic collection of comics and zany entertainers.
Each show is scheduled from 8pm - 10pm and quite often goes well beyond that in order to extend stage time to all who come out.
Some of the comics are completely new to writing and performing live, some are regulars on the Florida comedy circuit and working out new material. Occasionally we see a familiar face who is just passing through while on tour.
Stage time is a crucial component to building a career as a stand up. It can also be an incredible release for anyone wishing to explore their funny side in an open and encouraging environment.
