New Comedy Open Mic in Fort Myers

Kapua Kava Bar is proud to announce we will be hosting SW Florida's only "Comedy Open Mic" every other Wednesday starting Wednesday December 7th from 8pm until 10pm.

Our host will be Stand-Up Comic, Writer, Musician and Actor Lee Smith. Smith, a regular at the Miami Improv where at 25 he won the Turkey Fest Comedy Competition will be our featured comic as well as host and announcer.

Lee Smith is also known for his satirical comedy sketch characters including “Brutha Too Real,” “Jerome Jenkins,” and “Toni T.” His infectious energy ignites the crowd and inspires roars of laughter in every audience he entertains.

Kapua Kava Bars "Comedy Open Mic" will be a no holds barred showcase of Southwest Florida's best and brightest comics bringing their own hysterical material from the road and clubs across the country right to our doorstep in Fort Myers, Florida.

SW Florida has a growing community of talented comedians with proven track records for KILLING night after night. Also, look for special guest comedians to stop by and flesh out fresh new material right here at Kapua Kava Bar.

Artist sign-up will begin at 7:30pm the night of the event and stage time will be flexible depending on each comics requests and number of artists set to perform.
